North Coast Food Trail

THOSE WHO FOLLOW the North Coast Food Trail find a bevy of delights for the senses, and best of all, the self-guided tour allows followers to choose their own foodie adventures. The trail begins in Seaside, journeys south throughout the Tillamook Bay area, and ends in Lincoln City.
Destination options include farmers markets, fine dining at restaurants, farm tours, and foraging opportunities. Looking for local imbibements? There are more than a dozen wineries, distilleries, coffee roasters, and breweries along the trail. Tour-goers who want to learn more about food and
how to prepare it themselves can take an afternoon or evening class from a cooking school in Cannon Beach or Lincoln City, then enjoy their own creations! Those who like their food from the sea will want to visit Garibaldi to catch fish on a charter boat, or belly up to the nearby oyster bar and sea salt company in the Tillamook Bay area.
Tours can be tailored for personal taste (sample cheeses, oysters, or tea), by location, or activity level. More details, including an online map and a downloadable brochure are available on the North Coast Food Trail website. (northcoastfoodtrail.com)
