Waldport’s 67th annual Beachcomber Days, June 16-18, will be a weekend of “Driftwood and Dreams.”
The annual family-friendly event welcomes in the summer with festivities that create memories lasting a lifetime. Events include the car show, parade, fire dancers, and timber show, but there’s a whole lot more scheduled throughout the weekend.
On Friday, the mayoral proclamation opens “Driftwood and Dreams” 2023 Beachcomber Days followed by a top sponsors dinner celebrating high school scholarship candidates and their families.
On Saturday, visitors can expect a traditional hometown parade, street dancing, vendor faire, car show, kids faire, concessions, live music and more. The festivities continue through Sunday with more live music, the vendor fair and concessions, and family games.
The Timber Show has been so successful that the event features two days of competition on Saturday and Sunday.
NEW THIS YEAR- Visitors and neighbors attending Beachcomber Days who purchase goods from local stores can bring their receipts to the Information Booth to enter a raffle. Ten glass balls, made by the Ocean Beaches Glassblowing & Gallery in Seal Rock will be given away to entrants throughout the weekend.
