At the Pacific Artist Gallery in May

The Pacific Artist Cooperative Gallery in Lincoln City features works by ALXSw throughout May.

May’s featured artist at Pacific Artists’ Cooperative Gallery is award winning painter-photographer ALXSw. ALXSw is exhibiting new color block and solastalgia paintings, zen calligraphy, and travel photography. The feature exhibit will be available for viewing through the month of May.

“I am a minimalist painter, photographer, writer,” says ALXSw, which is a tradename for the artist. ALXSw received the President’s Award in Painting at the 2009 Biennale de’l Arte Contemponarea in Florence, Italy; placed at the 2013 Kallicott International Photography Exhibit in San Francisco, California; and was the People’s Choice winner at the 2009 Carmel Art and Film Festival in California. ALXSw has previously exhibited in New York with E32, at the Gallery Aferro in New Jersey, and at Expressions West at the Coos Art Museum.
